Is the vitamin C infusion painful?

Placing the access is a brief prick that most people find only slightly unpleasant. During the infusion some people feel warmth or pressure in the arm. Injections into the muscle or under the skin are felt briefly.

What does allergy infusion therapy cost at Alpha Skin?

The treatment starts from €160. The exact price depends on the individual composition. In the consultation you receive a transparent cost breakdown.

Does the infusion replace classic desensitisation?

No – infusion therapy is a supportive measure, not a specific allergen immunotherapy. It can relieve symptoms significantly and strengthen the immune system, but it does not replace classic hyposensitisation.

When should I start the vitamin C infusion before pollen season?

Ideally 2–4 weeks before the expected start of pollen season, so that the immune system can be optimally prepared. Treatment during the season is also possible and sensible.

How many vitamin C infusion sessions make sense for allergy?

We recommend a build-up course of 3–5 sessions. In the personal consultation the optimal treatment plan is determined individually for you.

How long does a vitamin C infusion session take?

A session takes about 45 minutes. The infusion runs for 30–45 minutes comfortably lying down, followed by a short observation phase.

Who is this therapy suitable for?

The treatment is suitable for people with seasonal pollen allergy, hay fever, year-round allergies, chronic susceptibility to infection or pronounced tiredness during allergy season.

What are allergy injections & vitamin C infusions?
